Caulfield police arrest two drug traffickers

Two alleged drug traffickers have been arrested after police seized drugs, cash and jewellery across Melbourne's south-east today.

Detectives from the Caulfield Divisional Response Unit executed multiple search warrants this morning at residential addresses in Mulgrave, Frankston, Dingley Village and Prahran.

Police seized approximately 2 kilograms of cocaine from an address in Frankston. In Mulgrave, detectives seized $20,000 in cash along with jewellery and a quantity of illicit drugs.

Two males were charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs, drug possession, dealing in the proceeds of crime and weapon offences.

A 25-year-old Mulgrave male was bailed to appear at the Ringwood Magistrates' Court on 28 September.

A 24-year-old Frankston male is remanded in custody and is expected to appear at an out of sessions court hearing today.

A 23-year-old Mulgrave female was also charged with drug possession, and was bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 28 September.
