Police investigating an armed robbery at Padstow have released CCTV images of a man wanted to assist with inquiries.
About 5.55am yesterday (Sunday 30 June 2019), a man entered a fast food restaurant on Davies Road, and threatened staff, indicating he had a firearm.
He was given an amount of cash before he fled the scene on foot. He was last seen running east on Arab Road.
No staff members were injured.
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
Investigators have now released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The man in the images is possibly Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall, average build, and a black and white coloured chequered staff is wrapped around his neck.
He is wearing a blue hooded jacket with white stripes along the shoulders, tight dark coloured pants and brown pointy dress shoes.
