CCTV of armed robbery released - Lalor Park

Police investigating an armed robbery at Lalor Park have released vision of the incident as they appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

About 4.45pm on Friday 30 August 2018, a 25-year-old staff member was threatened by a man armed with a firearm outside a licensed premises on Sackville Street.

The man, who had his face covered with a hood, entered the store with the staff member and demanded cash.

He was given a bag with an amount of cash before he fled the scene on a bicycle. The staff member was not injured.

Investigating police have now released vision and images of the incident.

The offender has been described as male, 180-190cm tall, Caucasian, wearing a black spray jacket with the hood over his head, trackpants, black/green coloured joggers, and carrying he was carrying a black sports bag with blue straps and riding a black pushbike.

Anyone with information on the identity of the man is urged to contact police.
