Cessnock City Library is proud to host an evening with popular Australian romance author Cathryn Hein as she discusses her latest novel, 'The Grazier's Son'.
The event will take place this Thursday 11 April, from 6pm-7pm, where Cathryn alongside fellow author Paula Beavan will provide a night filled with literary discussion and insights into the world of romance novels.
Cathryn Hein is a bestselling author of rural romance and romantic adventure novels and is a finalist for the Romance Writers of Australia Romantic Book of the Year and Australian Romance Reader Awards.
Her novel 'The Grazier's Son' follows the journey of a young helicopter pilot who travels to Victoria's western districts to claim his inheritance in a town that hates him except for one sassy, big-hearted woman, who is willing to give him a chance.
Her stories are known for their emotional depth and themes that tackle the tougher side of life, while still providing heart-warming moments.
Library Coordinator Rose-marie Walters said the event is a great opportunity to come along, meet local authors and delve into their story writing process.
"I encourage all romance lovers to come along, it's a free event and you can enjoy a cake and a cuppa while hearing from two fantastic local authors," said Ms Walters.
"Don't miss out on the chance to meet Cathryn Hein and get your copy of 'The Grazier's Son' signed by the author herself."
Bookings for this event are essential and can be made from the adults' section of the Library website's 'What's On' page
