Changing Places - Finns Reserve Templestowe

Over 326,000 Victorians with high support needs rely on access to Changing Places in their local community to access recreational and tourist attractions, parks, community spaces, entertainment and sporting venues. Changing Places provide suitable facilities for those who cannot use standard accessible toilets.

We are home to one of 90 Changing Places in Victoria. Changing Places are accessible facilities including adult change tables, accessible toilets and showers.

Funded under the State Government's program, Changing Places at Finns Reserve, Duncan Street Templestowe Lower, was completed in February 2021. The government has now listed many more spaces available around the state.

"Our community has always supported those with high support needs and we were pleased to get $100,000 government funding to make this happen," said Mayor Cr Michelle Kleinert.

"Changing Places means more of our community can discover Finns Reserve, one of our most visited spaces and home to Wombat Bend Playspace.

"More of our community can now experience this fun and interactive playspace."

Wombat Bend, Finns Reserve, is a wheelchair accessible all abilities playspace alongside the Yarra River.
