Officers from the Serious Crime Squad have charged a 29-year-old female in relation to an alleged aggravated robbery.
Around 1:30 yesterday morning the woman attended a service station in Karama and forced entry into the building.
She proceeded to throw glass bottles at the console operator before following him behind the counter, threatening him and leaving with a quantity of cigarettes and food.
The woman returned soon after and made further threats to the console operator.
Casuarina Police arrested her a short time after in Casuarina.
She has been charged with:
• Unlawful Entry - Building
• Aggravated Robbery
• Trespass on premises
• Assault on a worker
She was refused bail and will appear in Darwin Local Court today.
