Charges - Child Sex Offences - Darwin

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 49-year-old New South Wales man for historical child sex offences.

The male was arrested by Sex Crimes Unit investigators on Tuesday, 1 May, Northern Territory Police say.

The offending was alleged to have occurred in the Northern Territory during 2006 and 2008 and involved two child victims.

The male was charged with:

  • Act of gross indecency child under 16 years
  • Attempt sexual intercourse.

The male was remanded to appear in the Darwin Local Court on Wednesday, 2 May 2018.
