Police are appealing for information after a child approach in Lake Macquarie region, NSW Police say.
About 8am yesterday (Thursday 3 May 2018), a 15-year-old girl was at a bus stop on Algonia Road, Charlestown, when a small silver/grey coloured car stopped near her and the male driver engaged her in conversation.
A bystander intervened and the man drove away.
The incident was reported to police from Lake Macquarie Police District who commenced enquiries.
The man has been described as aged in his 40s, bald with freckles.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
