Child critical after being hit by bus in Sydney's south-west

A child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in Sydney's south-west.

Emergency services were called to Cobbitty Road, Cobbitty, just before 3pm (Wednesday 15 February 2023) and found a 10-year-old boy critically injured.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the boy at the scene before taking him to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

The bus driver, a 60-year-old woman, has been taken for mandatory testing and is assisting police with their inquiries.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command and the Crash Investigation Unit have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. N28617
