Christmas at Darwin Waterfront. It's most wonderful time of year!

Darwin Waterfront Corporation

See our Christmas Wonderland light up the Waterfront every day from Friday 27 November until the end of the year.

Christmas at the Waterfront will launch with a special community event from 6pm on Friday 27 November 2020. Join us for a Community Christmas Carols Concert hosted by Mel Little, and featuring performances from local schools, community groups and the Starlight Foundation, who will be fundraising on the evening.

Witness the magic of Christmas as we then countdown with our special guest, Santa, and light up the Darwin Waterfront Christmas Wonderland to conclude the concert event.

Local schools and groups performing:

- Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School

- Top End Calisthenics Club

- Haileybury Primary School

- St John's Catholic College

- Keltikka Irish Dancers

Santa will return to Darwin Waterfront in December to visit his new, magical grotto next to Surf Dive n Ski. Get your photo taken with Santa and receive a digital copy to share with family & friends. Santa's visiting times are:

Friday 11 – Sunday 13 December 6pm-8pm

Friday 18 - Sunday 20 December 6pm-8pm

Monday 21 - Thursday 24 December 5pm-8pm

Whilst you're waiting, be sure to write Santa a letter and post it at the grotto by 16 December to receive a personalised reply!

Continue to discover festive cheer at every turn as our Christmas Wonderland once again illuminates the Waterfront.

Capture your perfect Christmas moment at our new Christmas Bauble archway, and marvel at our illuminated baubles floating in the Recreation Lagoon. Your favourites also return with the giant Gingerbread House, Santa's sleigh and more located throughout the Parklands.
