City of Canada Bay plans for 2036 and beyond

The City of Canada Bay is reviewing its community-led plan, Our future 2036, which guides all the work Council does.

"Our future 2036, captures the priorities of thousands of residents, visitors, and business people for the future of the City of Canada Bay," said City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas.

"Five years on, it's important we review our plan so it continues to meet the needs of our growing community."

As with the rest of Sydney, the City of Canada Bay is undergoing unprecedented growth, with its population expected to increase over the next fifteen years.

"Your input will help us plan the future so we can continue to deliver high quality programs and services, while meeting the needs of our growing community," said Mayor Tsirekas.

Residents are encouraged to have their say at ourfuture2036.com.au by taking part in a quick survey, pinning their ideas on an interactive map, and allocating points to priority projects.

All contributors will go in the running to win great prizes, including a $1,000 RedBalloon voucher or a $150 Visa gift card.

Consultation for Our future 2036 closes on 11pm Sunday, 1 August 2021.
