City of Casey 2020 Art Spaces Exhibition Program

The City of Casey invites artists from Melbourne's South East to apply for the 2020 City of Casey Art Spaces Exhibition Program.

Open to most visual art forms, including digital media, the exhibition program provides a great platform for artists to increase their exposure and reach new audiences.

Playing a significant part in sharing and celebrating the vibrant cultural life of the municipality, the program comprises of four exhibition spaces across the Casey Cardinia Library network in Cranbourne, Endeavour Hills, Doveton and Bunjil Place.

City of Casey Mayor Cr Amanda Stapledon is encouraging all local artists to apply for the program, welcoming all types of mediums, concepts and visual techniques.

"We are looking forward to hosting a range of inspirational visual artists and crafters, and sharing their creativity with the wider community," she said.

River Gum Ward Councillor and Chair of Casey's Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee Wayne Smith also noted the success of last year's exhibition and the opportunities it provided to local artists.

"In 2019, the program had over forty artists exhibiting in a range of mediums, with many participating artists reporting that the program had opened further creative opportunities for them," he said.
