City of Perth to Live Stream Council Meetings

The City of Perth will commence live streaming Council Meetings as of the Ordinary Council Meeting taking place at 5pm on Tuesday 26 October.

City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said that live streaming was an important step to ensure council meetings are readily accessible to all members of the public.

"From now on Agenda Briefing Sessions, Ordinary and Special Council Meetings will be live streamed to give members of the public who are unable to attend in person the opportunity to watch and listen live on the City of Perth website," he said.

"This is a key part of our approach to be an open and transparent council and an exemplar of Local Government."
