City parks set for major upgrades

A number of city parks will be enhanced to create better play spaces and improved landscaping, with the tender for a design and construction panel released tomorrow.

Mayor Tom Tate said the six projects, funded by a combination of whole-of-City and Divisional Councillor budgets, aimed to create public spaces that appealed to all ages.

"We all love our parks and these projects aim to create imaginative play spaces, improved facilities, appealing landscaping and places where everyone can relax," he said.
