City Seeks Public Opinion on Aldershot Reserve Playground Revamp

The City of Greater Geelong is inviting residents to share their ideas for the renewal of Aldershot Reserve in St Albans Park.

The City is asking for community input into what the playground might look like.

The design will be guided by residents' feedback, with preliminary plans to be shared in the new year.

The possibilities are many. Should it be a natural or a more contemporary design? What type of play equipment should it feature?

It's up to the community to help guide what's included.

A 'district' level playground provides a wider range of play opportunities than a local play space and covers a greater catchment area.

These playgrounds are strategically located within larger reserves or sporting reserves and cater for a range of age groups.
