Clan lab located after traffic stop

Police have arrested three people and seized drugs, firearms and a stolen car after a traffic stop at Fulham Gardens late last week.

About 5pm on Friday 19 March, Serious and Organised Crime officers stopped a Holden Commodore sedan in the car park of a Fulham Gardens shopping centre. Police searched the vehicle and located 45 litres of the drug Fantasy.

As a result a Morphett Vale address was searched and police located a clandestine drug laboratory, three firearms, approximately 150 grams of methamphetamine and a stolen vehicle.

A 38-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, both from Morphett Vale and a 29-year-old man from Torrens Park were arrested and charged with three counts of trafficking a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug, taking part in the manufacture of a controlled drug and possessing a prescribed firearm.

The Holden Commodore sedan and the stolen vehicle have been seized and will be subjected to further examination.

All three suspects were refused bail and attended Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 22 March, where they were remanded in custody to reappear in August.
