The Clin Micro Open (CMO) is a forum that brings together laboratory and industry leaders to discuss current and potential issues affecting the future of diagnostic clinical microbiology. Our goal is to explore mechanisms to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate challenges. By exchanging ideas, engaging in informal networking and cultivating partnerships, we aim to ultimately improve patient care.
This dynamic 2-day forum will focus on pandemic preparedness: lessons for the future, clinical outcomes research, and ongoing laboratory opportunities and challenges. The participants will present the keynote talks, followed by roundtable discussions, with the intent of formulating recommendations for future activities or collaborations.
