Goulburn Mulwaree Council advises that the construction of a roundabout will soon commence at the intersection of Clinton & Deccan Streets, Goulburn.
Works will involve construction of a single-lane roundabout, pavement reconstruction, drainage improvements, utility adjustments, signage, and line marking.
Work is scheduled to commence mid-March 2026 and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026, weather permitting. Work will be carried out between the hours of 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday, with night and weekend works taking place as required.
Please be advised that the Clinton & Deccan Street intersection will be closed from mid-March until the end of June, with detours in place. Resident and Emergency services access will be maintained. There will be an increase in construction traffic and noise during this time, and Traffic Management will be in place.
Council acknowledges the temporary inconvenience and appreciates the community's patience during these important upgrades.
This project is funded by the Australian Government under the Heavy Vehicle Safety and Productivity Program 2022, supporting safer and more efficient heavy vehicle routes.
