Corretto, an all-day drinking & dining destination on Dee Why beach, owned by Sydney hospo veteran Kurtis Bosley (CBK Hospitality Group, Banco Manly, Spirits Specialist at Moët Hennessy) and run by venue manager Tua Fatongiatau (Marble Bar), have collaborated with Sophisticated Cocktail Co., the Northern Beaches cocktail company batching and bagging premium ready to drink cocktails, on a special margarita which is an ode to their native Northern Beaches origins.
The cocktail will be available in the 750ml stand up pouches that Sophisticated Cocktail Co. have become renowned for, allowing consumers to enjoy more than just the one cocktail, or “the ability to serve a pretty special cocktail to your guests at your dinner party”, as Vicki Lyon (owner of Sophisticated Cocktail Co.) details. The pouches are used instead of glass bottles as they have an 80% lower carbon footprint and last longer due to the pressure flow tap, therefore minimising wastage.
The cocktail was designed by the Corretto team using tequila that is infused with strawberry gum, pandan-infused agave syrup, limes from the Central Coast and saline.
“On the Northern Beaches of Sydney, we are surrounded by amazing produce, unique to the area. We have been experimenting with ways to use this in our drinks and our Naked & Nuked margarita is the result of this.” Both businesses share the same ethos of creating exceptional cocktails, using local and premium ingredients and putting sustainability at the heart of what they do.
