You can dispose of it safely through Council by following these steps:
- Purchase 2 asbestos disposal bags ($4.50 each) from the resource recovery facility nearest to you (in Kyneton, Romsey and Woodend).
- Double bag (using purchased bags) the sand material and any wet wipes used to clean up an area as shown at Safe asbestos disposal
