The CommBank Junior Matildas will assemble for their final domestic training camp ahead of FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2026™, with Australia's debut in the tournament set to kick off on October 19th against Chile.
CommBank Junior Matildas Head Coach, Michael Cooper, has called in a 28-player squad for the upcoming training camp, as his coaching staff have their final opportunity to make selection choices ahead of the squad announcement for the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2026™.
Australia qualified for the first-ever time for the showpiece U-17 event following the team's fourth-place finish at the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup 2026™, with the tournament set to provide invaluable experience for Australia's next generation of stars.

The CommBank Junior Matildas will kick off their FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2026™ campaign against Chile, who will be competing in their third U-17 Women's World Cup.
The team will then take on two-time champions, Spain, in their second group stage game of Group F, with the team having won the tournament in 2018 and 2022 and were runners-up in the 2024 edition of the tournament.
Mexico are Australia's final group stage opponents, who will be competing in their ninth U-17 showpiece tournament. The team has been close to picking up the title in previous years, claiming 2nd place in the 2018 tournament and picking up the Bronze Medal in last year's edition.
