Wagga Wagga City Council owns and manages several halls and community centres located throughout the city that can be hired for community-based events.
This includes the Duke of Kent Community Centre, Estella Public School, Glenfield Community Centre, Lake Albert Hall, Mary Kidson Hall and the Senior Citizens Centre on Tarcutta Street.
These facilities can accommodate a variety of community activities including health and fitness, personal growth workshops, social connection groups, meetings, religious services, and arts and crafts. (Please note: these facilities are not available for private parties or functions).
The Duke of Kent Community Centre is a newly built facility located in central Wagga Wagga, at 26 Shaw Street, next to the Duke of Kent Oval. It features two versatile rooms that can accommodate up to 50 people per room and can be opened into one large space.

Estella Public School has a meeting room that seats up to 40 people and is available daily, and a school hall that seats up to 100 people which is available Monday–Friday, 7pm–9pm and weekends, 9am–9pm, in 4-hour blocks. Please note no food or drinks are allowed inside the hall.
The Glenfield Community Centre, located at 8 Tanda Place, Glenfield Park (right next to Glenrock Country Practice), is a versatile community centre featuring a multi-purpose Indoor Sporting Court and Meeting Room.
The smaller-sized indoor court features cement flooring, basketball and netball markings, air conditioning and seating for up to 100 people is available, and the meeting room comfortably seats up to 50 people with tables and chairs provided.
The Lake Albert Hall is located at Lake Street, next to Apex Park and features a spacious hall with hardwood floors and a stage, plus tables and chairs to seat 100 people.
Mary Kidson Hall has a large room that can seat up to 50 people theatre-style, and is located at the Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens, near the Adventure Playground (entrance off 118 Macleay Street).
The Seniors Community Centre at 204-210 Tarcutta Street is a comfortable and versatile space that is used weekly by Wagga Wagga Senior Citizen's Club and several Probus Clubs.
The Seniors Community Centre features the Wiradjuri Hall which seats up to 100 people with tables and chairs, while the Sturt Room is a space for up to 15 people.
All these facilities feature toilets, air conditioning and heating, ample parking and wheelchair accessibility. Kitchen facilities vary between the venues, please check if the venue you are interested in using has the kitchen facilities you need.
All bookings require an agreement with Council and must follow the Conditions of Hire for Community Centres and Halls.
