Community satisfaction survey now underway

Latrobe City residents are being invited to give their feedback about Latrobe City Council's services via a telephone survey that starts on 11 February.

Households in Latrobe City may receive a call from an independent market research agency, National Field Services, which is conducting the annual community satisfaction survey on behalf of Council.

Survey phone calls will be conducted over three weeks. The survey is coordinated by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) on behalf of Victorian councils.

The survey has been designed to assess the performance of Latrobe City Council across a range of measures to identify areas for improvement or to provide more effective service delivery to residents.

Latrobe City Council Mayor, Cr Sharon Gibson said the survey provided residents with the chance to highlight what Council does well and what improvements can be made.

"Council exists to provide many services to our community and as the community are our customers, they are best placed to determine what works well and what needs addressing," Cr Gibson said.

"That's why it's vital our residents let us know how we can make life better for them, their families and friends, and their communities.

"Council will review the feedback received and respond by continuing what works well and by implementing change where needed to enhance how our services are delivered."

Residents are assured their details and individual responses will remain confidential. Only the overall results are shared with Council.

If you have any questions, please phone Council's Customer Service Team on 1300 367 700.

The results of the Latrobe City survey will be released later in the year.
