The new Aged Care Act will start from 1 November this year. It will ensure older people are at the centre of aged care and make the system safer, fairer and more respectful.
COTA Australia and the Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) are hosting community sessions across September and October for you to:
- learn about the new Act and what it means for you
- understand what will change in aged care
- ask questions and get clear information
- share your views and experiences.
These sessions are for older people, their families and carers.
