Greater Shepparton City Council is reminding residents that face-to-face surveys are taking place in the region from Tuesday 10 to Monday 16 June 2025, as part of the Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey.

In Summary
- Face-to-face Community Satisfaction Surveys are taking place across Greater Shepparton from 10 to 16 June 2025.
- Surveys are conducted by research company Thinkfield on behalf of Council to assess service performance and community expectations.
- Residents are encouraged to participate if approached, with all responses kept confidential and grouped anonymously.
- The surveys help Council identify areas for improvement and ensure services continue to meet community needs.
Research resource company Thinkfield is conducting the surveys, which are a useful way for Council to understand whether it is meeting community expectations for the services it provides.
Thinkfield conducted an initial number of surveys by Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing, with Greater Shepparton residents aged 18+ selected at random to take part. Thinkfield will now conduct the in-person surveys in Greater Shepparton, with residents encouraged to take part if they are approached over the coming days.
Council's Director Corporate Services, Chris Teitzel, said all responses are confidential and are grouped with others.
"The surveys are a useful tool for Council to gather feedback directly from residents. We want to know what they think of Council's performance and service to ensure we are continually improving our delivery to the community," he said.
"Residents can be assured that if they are approached in person to take part in the survey, it is legitimate and is being conducted on behalf of Council."
