To celebrate International Compost Awareness Week (1 – 7 May) Council, together with Upper Goulburn Landcare Network and Embassy of Ideas, is hosting a compost education Q&A panel-style event on Saturday 7 May from 10.00 – 11.00 am at the Embassy of Ideas, 3 Bayley Street, Alexandra.
Panel members will share their compost stories, including some exciting local projects, and answer any questions you might have about composting. They will also provide tips for creating and improving your own home compost system. During the event, you'll hear from

- Grace Davis-Williams – Regional Waste Education Officer, Murrindindi Shire Council
- Sasha Barrow – Feed it Forward Community Food Garden, Embassy of Ideas
