An employer may make a contrition payment to demonstrate remorse for a wrongdoing. In some cases, employers can elect to make contrition payments to recipient organisations to support initiatives that promote compliance with workplace laws.
Recipient organisations are those that meet set eligibility criteria and are approved by us.
Becoming a recipient organisation
Eligible organisations can now express their interest and seek our approval to become recipient organisations.
