Coolup fatal crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Coolup yesterday, Sunday 11 December 2022.

About 3.10pm, a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling north on the South Western Highway when near Murray Street, the motorcycle left the road and struck a tree.

The 50-year-old male rider of the motorcycle received critical injuries as a result of the crash and died in the ambulance enroute to the Peel Health Campus.

Investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash, or the Harley Davidson motorcycle travelling in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
