In a major coup for the northern suburbs, global retail giant Costco has announced it will open another retail outlet, at the Cook Labor Government's newly launched Alkimos Central's Home X Trade Hub.

Homemakers within the fastest growing corridor in Perth will soon have closer access to the wide array of goods and services that has made Costco popular throughout the world.

Costco's decision to establish in the Home X Trade Hub signals strong confidence in the area's strategic location, growth, and long-term commercial appeal.

Building on from this major signing, DevelopmentWA is now seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from other commercial operators, with the release of up to 17 hectares within the hub.

The Home X Trade Hub is ideally suited to bulky goods retail outlets that typically require large sites and convenient vehicular access.

With flexible opportunities available for tailored sites, individual or multi-lot acquisition, this EOI presents a rare and high-impact opportunity for businesses to establish themselves alongside global retail giant Costco.

The Alkimos Central Home X Trade Hub is a 24-hectare site, strategically positioned minutes from the METRONET Alkimos Station, with seamless access to the Mitchell Freeway via Romeo Road.

As development progresses, the Home X Trade Hub is set to generate hundreds of jobs for Western Australians, boost local business, and deliver everyday convenience for residents of Alkimos and Eglinton.

Alkimos Central is a master planned community that is designed to meet the growing needs of the area, which is forecast to exceed 45,000 residents by 2035.

EOIs must be submitted via the electronic tender box no later than 2pm (AWST) on Wednesday, 26 November via Tenderlink .
