The Hills Shire Council is celebrating Small Business Month this October with a program of workshops and advisory sessions designed to empower local entrepreneurs and businesses to grow, innovate, and thrive.
This year's program features a workshop on harnessing AI for marketing, personalised one-on-one sessions with a digital business advisor, and opportunities to meet with Council's Economic Development Team to discover how your business can grow and succeed in The Hills.
Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne, is encouraging business owners to take full advantage of these valuable resources.
"Council is proud to be a Collaborations Partner of the NSW Government's Small Business Month program. It's a fantastic opportunity to recognise and support the thousands of small businesses that form the backbone of our local economy," Mayor Byrne said.
"With more than 26,000 businesses operating in The Hills, Council remains committed to supporting these businesses by providing practical tools, expert advice, valuable connections and affordable programs.
"Our latest Hills Business Performance Sentiment Index survey revealed that one in four local businesses accessed government support last year, and 43% of those experienced revenue growth.
"These results demonstrate how our workshops are designed to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to succeed," she added.
