At its September Ordinary Council meeting, Council determined its operations over the Christmas/New Year period for 2021/22.
Council's Depot, Administration Office, Library and Visitor Information Centre (VIC) will be closed to the public for the Christmas/New Year period from Saturday 25 December 2021 until Sunday 9 January 2022 (inclusive) and reopen on Monday 10 January 2022.
The Leeton Museum and Gallery will remain open from 10am to 3pm on days that are not public holidays.
Other Council services such as the landfill, swimming pools, cemetery (on-call only) and ranger services will remain in operation (except on Christmas Day).
Extensive publicity will be undertaken prior to the holiday period to ensure the public is well informed of these arrangements and of emergency contact numbers.
