Goulburn Mulwaree Council advises the community that the proposed Pesticide Use Notification Plan will be presented to the 15 September 2026 Council Meeting for consideration and endorsement for public exhibition.
The Plan has been developed to outline how Council will notify residents and visitors about the application of pesticides on land under Council's management.
The document aims to provide greater transparency and help ensure the community is informed about pesticide use in public areas, while supporting Council's responsibilities for the maintenance of parks, reserves, roadsides, sports grounds and other public spaces.
Should Council resolve to endorse the draft Plan for exhibition, community members will have the opportunity to review the document and provide feedback during the public exhibition period.
Following the Council meeting, details of the exhibition period and information on how to make a submission will be made available on Council's website through the Your Say Goulburn page: yoursay.goulburn.nsw.gov.au
Council encourages interested residents, businesses and community groups to review the draft Plan and participate in the consultation process once it is placed on public exhibition.
