A professional development course designed to develop business leadership and management skills for women working in the agriculture industry is being offered in Kempsey.

The Generating Regionally Outstanding Women (GROW) course is focused on improving time management, planning, communication, industrial relations and workplace health and safety (WH&S) for women in farming.

Offered by Tocal College with support from Kempsey Shire Council, the six-month course will be delivered using a blend of face-to-face and online training with two, one-day workshops in Kempsey as well as weekly webinars.

Webinars will be recorded for those who are unable to attend the live sessions. The course will be delivered in Kempsey with an online pre-workshop task starting on 1 July before the initial face-to-face workshop on 25 July.

The GROW program is designed for business owners and managers, who have a minimum of five years' experience in the workplace and have delegation or aspire to have delegation over workplace health and safety and human resources systems within their business.
