COVID-19 update: 10 May 2020

The Department of Health is today reporting zero new cases of COVID-19 overnight, leaving our State's total at 552.

There are seven active cases across the State, one in regional WA.

Of the State's seven active cases, six are from Western Australia and one is from interstate.

In Western Australia 536 people have now recovered from the virus, which represents 97 per cent of cases.

There are now four confirmed COVID-19 patients in Perth metropolitan hospitals, with one of these in ICU.

Yesterday, 290 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics, and of these 267 were assessed and 265 swabbed within the clinics.

To date there have been 55,758 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those, 9,906 tests were carried out in regional WA.
