COVID-19 update - 30 April 2020

The Department of Health has today reported no new cases of COVID-19 overnight, keeping the State's total number of cases to 551.

There are 13 confirmed COVID-19 patients in Perth metropolitan hospitals – three of whom are in ICU.

To date 37,251 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in Western Australia. Of those, 6,605 people have returned negative tests in regional WA.

WA has a total of 507 recovered cases, leaving 36 active cases across the State.

Yesterday, 651 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 603 people were assessed and 599 were swabbed.
