Crackenback, Moonbah Rd Resheeting Starts Feb. 9, 2026

A large yellow grader working on an unsealed (gravel) road

Snowy Monaro Regional Council's infrastructure team will begin resheeting works from Monday 9 February 2026, weather permitting, on Wollondibby Road and Westons Road in Crackenback and West Lynne Road in Moonbah.

All three roads will be open to traffic, subject to some short delays, while these works are completed over the next four weeks.

Council advises motorists to be alert for heavy vehicles and equipment, traffic control measures, and construction crews while this work is underway.

Completion dates are subject to change due to bad weather and other circumstances beyond Council's control. We will advise residents of any changes.

Resheeting is part of the regular maintenance schedule for unsealed roads. The two-part process adds additional gravel to the road surface prior to grading, extending the lifespan of these crucial rural and regional transportation corridors.
