Crafers truck crash

Police are investigating a truck crash at Crafers early this morning.

Just before 2.20am on Wednesday 14 June police responded to reports of a truck crashing into the concrete barrier on the out track of the South Eastern Freeway near the Stirling on ramp. Thankfully the driver was not injured.

The freeway was closed for outbound traffic for several hours. The truck and two trailers were towed from the scene before 7am.

One outbound lane has since been re-opened with speed restrictions in place.

City bound traffic was also affected.

Heavy vehicles were stopped at the bottom of the freeway and held up for several hours.

SA Police would like to thank everyone for their patience.
