Crash and arrest, Eagleby

A 37-year-old Doolandella man has been charged with multiple offences after an alleged incident at Eagleby last night (October 2).

Emergency services were called just after 7:10pm following reports of a station wagon colliding into a house on Eagleby Road.

Police will allege the driver, a 37-year-old man, became aggressive and assaulted police who responded by deploying a taser and a police dog to apprehend him.

The 37-year-old was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital under police guard.

Four additional people, three from the vehicle and one from the residence, were transported to Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The 37-year-old Doolandella man has been charged with four counts of obstruct police officer, and one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle and adversely affected by an intoxicating substance (Domestic violence), deprivation of liberty (Domestic violence).

He is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 4.
