Crash appeal, Redland Bay

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are seeking witnesses to a collision between two vehicles at Redland Bay on Monday, May 24.

Around 8.30pm, a blue Subaru Impreza was travelling along Serpentine Road when a collision occurred with a white Mazda BT-50 towing a small open-top trailer travelling in the opposite direction near the Lagoon Road intersection.

The 21-year-old driver and sole occupant of the Impreza suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

A man and woman, both aged 27, travelling in the Mazda BT-50 were not physically injured.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, or has dashcam vision of the vehicles, is encouraged to contact police.
