- Boosting local economic growth and stimulating local employment.
For the first time in 12 years, businesses looking to establish or expand in Cunderdin now have new opportunities to secure general industrial land in the region.
As part of the Cook Labor Government's efforts to boost regional industrial land supply, DevelopmentWA has released five general industrial lots through the Regional Development Assistance Program (RDAP).
The lots are conveniently located between the Great Eastern Highway and CBH operations, just north of the main township.
Cunderdin is a key Wheatbelt town with local industries and services based around the agricultural sector, making the new industrial lots ideally suited to accommodate a broad range of agricultural businesses.
The lots, ranging in size from 2,017 square metres to 5,632 square metres, have street lighting, water and power ready for connection to each lot.
The RDAP provides funding to support essential regional land supply, contributing to development and economic resilience in regional communities.
In addition, the provision of employment land is essential to attracting a more permanent population in Cunderdin.

"This land release is an important step in supporting local growth and jobs by delivering quality general industrial lots.
"The lots have been delivered through the Cook Labor Government's Regional Development Assistance Program, which aims to ensure residential and industrial land development in the regions.

As stated by Wheatbelt Minister Sabine Winton:
"Our Government is addressing demand and enabling Cunderdin to attract new businesses or to allow local business to expand.
"We are doing everything we can to help communities in the Wheatbelt grow and thrive, including through the release of industrial land to spur further economic development."
