Fairfield City Council is proud to announce the official opening of Endeavour Sports Park – a state-of-the-art sports precinct in Fairfield West, delivering on its commitment to provide world-class recreational facilities for the local community.

Centred around the construction of 2 new FIFA-accredited synthetic soccer fields, the $16 million transformation – funded by the NSW Government and Fairfield City Council, has delivered a vibrant, multipurpose precinct that caters to a wide range of sports and community activities.

With 2 synthetic fields, 2 full-size synthetic futsal courts, 17 multipurpose courts, upgraded amenities, 5 renewed grass playing fields with irrigation, and high-performance lighting, Endeavour Sports Park is now equipped to host everything from local-level competitive matches to grassroots training, day or night.

Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone said Council is proud to deliver this project as part of a broader vision to make Fairfield City a premier destination to live, work, and play.

"Endeavour Sports Park is a game changer for our community. It's more than just a sports facility, it's a place where families can come together, young people can thrive, and our local athletes can train and compete in a world-class environment," he said.

"We are investing in what matters to our residents – safe, accessible, and modern spaces where people of all ages can get active and connect with others.

"Endeavour Sports Park is one of many projects that reflect our commitment to building a healthier, more engaged community.

"These facilities are not just for today, they're for the next generation. We want our young people to have the best opportunities to grow, compete, and succeed right here in their own backyard."

Quote attributable to Member for Fairfield, Dr David Saliba:

"Sport isn't just about the game – it's about bringing people together. I will continue to advocate for the very best sporting facilities for our local area."

The new facilities are designed to support a wide range of sports including soccer, football cricket, basketball, volleyball, netball, and pickleball, offering greater flexibility and access for local clubs, schools, and families.

The opening of Endeavour Sports Park marks another milestone in Council's ongoing investment in community infrastructure, following recent upgrades to Avenel Park and the upcoming construction of the Fairfield Showground Community and Events Centre.
