Cyclist dies after crash at Woodcroft

Police are investigating the death of a cyclist following a mountain bike crash at Woodcroft on Sunday.

The crash occurred on a bike track near Education Road, Woodcroft about 11am on Sunday 16 July.

The cyclist, a 41-year-old Somerton Park man, was taken by ambulance to the Flinders Medical Centre.

Sadly, he died of his injuries yesterday, Tuesday 18 July.

Major Crash investigators are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The mountain bike rider's death is the 68th life lost in crashes in South Australia so far this year, compared to 42 at the same time last year.
