Cyclist dies in hospital after Hampton crash

A cyclist has died in hospital following a crash in Hampton on 30 June.

Police have been told a cyclist was riding north along Beach Road when it is believed the rider lost control and crashed into a parked car just after 3.30pm.

The cyclist, a 72-year-old Reservoir man, was taken to hospital where he later died.

Bayside police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
