Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Attwood this evening.
A car and bicycle collided at the corner of Mickleham Road and Bateman Street shortly before 7pm.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the yet-to-be-identified male cyclist died at the scene.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was transported to hospital for observation.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives will investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
