Dangerous driving charge, Mundingburra at Townsville

Police have charged a 14-year-old boy following an incident at a park in Mundingburra on February 23.

Around 4:20pm while a group of people were practicing soccer on Aplins Weir Rotary Park, it is alleged the boy drove one of two stolen cars onto the Burt Street park driving in a dangerous manner.

No one was injured.

Yesterday police arrested and charged the teenager with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, enter premises with intent, unlicensed driving and two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
