Dark side of our chocolate Easter eggs

With Easter in sight, the annual hunt for chocolate bunnies and eggs has begun. And yet, most cacao farmers still fail to earn a decent income, with a mere 8% of the total profit from chocolate sales reaching their pockets. But what about fair-trade quality labels? And what other measures are needed to boost the income of small cacao farmers in particular? Various Wageningen researchers are working on answering these questions.
