The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested a 25-year-old male in relation to a serious harm incident that occurred in the Darwin CBD on the evening of Wednesday 22 October 2025.
Since Wednesday, investigators from the Serious Crime Squad and Fugitive Taskforce undertook multiple lines of enquiry to identify and locate the offender, with a 25-year-old male being arrested by investigators from the Katherine Criminal Investigation Branch after it was discovered the male had allegedly fled Darwin shortly after the incident.
The 25-year-old remains in custody and is expected to be charged with:
2 x Acts Intended to Cause Serious Harm
1 x Possess / Carry / Use Controlled Weapon
1 x Armed with an Offensive Weapon
Police continue to urge anyone with information about the incident to make contact on 131 444, particularly if you have dash-cam footage in the area between 6:20pm and 6:35pm on Wednesday.
