A 56-year-old woman has drowned in Rapid Creek this afternoon.
Northern Territory Police and St John Ambulance were called to the scene near Darwin Airport around 3pm after the woman was found in the water unconscious.
The woman could not be resuscitated.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
