Arson Squad investigators are seeking the public’s assistance with information to assist with their investigation into a fire at a shopping centre located on Beeliar Drive in Success on Tuesday, 1 May 2018.
Around 12:50pm, two male teenagers entered a department store and were seen walking to the clothing section. A short time later the clothes on the rack were engulfed in flames, activating the overhead fire suppression. , WA Police say
The damage bill is estimated at $20,000.
Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to identify two male teenagers who were in the store around the time of the fire as they may be able to assist with this investigation.
Both teenagers are described as fair skinned with slim builds. One was wearing grey pants, a blue jacket and a grey baseball cap, carrying a blue Adidas backpack. The second teenager was wearing a red shirt with a yellow insignia, black pants and a green baseball cap.
