Delivery driver threatened in Waterloo

Police are investigating following an attempted robbery of a delivery driver in Waterloo, NSW Police say.

About 9.30pm (Friday 5 January 2018), a 28-year-old man parked his scooter in George Street, Waterloo, when he was approached by an unknown woman.

She demanded his wallet and following a scuffle, the man ran towards Raglan Street, Waterloo, where he contacted police to report the incident.

Police attached to Redfern Local Area Command commenced inquiries and would like to speak to a woman who may be able to assist.

The woman has been described to police as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, of large build, with black hair and about 30-34 years old.

She was last seen wearing a light pink sleeveless top and a short black skirt.

The man was not physically injured during the attempted robbery.
